Center for Inspired Teaching's overall goal is for every student in our country to have an Inspired Teacher. As the organization works towards that goal, our programs are designed to achieve the following outcomes:
• Instruction becomes challenging, engaging, and student-centered, and students achieve at high levels.
• School becomes a place where children thrive and where adults and children find joy in their work.
• Educators take ownership and become agents of change in their classrooms, schools, and beyond, so that changes are sustained.
VOLUNTEER:
Here's how you can help
• Adopt a classroom in one of our partner schools.
Help an Inspired Teacher by doing a literacy project in the classroom, organizing a Parent Night, or tutoring students in our partner schools.
• Throw a party for a good cause!
As we strive to spread our message about the importance of investing in teachers, you can assist us in expanding our reach locally and regionally by hosting an informal fundraiser.
• Offer a unique skill set.
Do you have expertise in marketing and communications strategy? Computer technology? Want to lend a hand? Got another volunteer idea? Tell us about it!
